The Germans practiced obedience
In many hundreds of years
That brought them erudition
in which they were leaders
Obedience to this day
Obey whatever may come
If only it sounds from above
And roars mightily with a threat
We are all well aware of this
And many in the land are dissatisfied
Obedience will lead us to the slaughter
This can now be felt everywhere
What must now grow is courage
The love of life gives it
The little word “no” is a good thing
And breathe freedom, more and more.
